I haven’t made a post in a while due to being busy with programming. I have been writing a couple of programs designed for business websites for Alpine Designs. They are written using PHP, mySQL and Javascript with jQuery and AJAX. One allows guests to post reviews and send emails on forms which are harder for the spam bots to use. It also helps with link trading and posting updates on websites. The backend allows management of all four modules. It can send emails using two different methods in case the websites server does not allow one of them.
The other allows us to manage the individual website, organize link trading and keep track of search engine rankings. They are both database driven with the second able to access multiple databases. There are more enhancements planned focusing on SEO & SEM (search engine optimization and search engine marketing) to help get our clients to the top of the list on Google and other search engines.
