Chris has had six Java Applets on his personal website. With the lack of attention that site was getting (it happens when you are working on other websites all the time) they were still on there until recently even though browsers stop supporting them year ago. They have all been brought back to life, at least on the development computer. They were tweaked a bit due to changes in font sizes and lined up. Here’s screenshots of three of them that were built to show a couple of Java classes with astrodynamic functions.
This is an orbital mechanics project that was originally created while Chris was in Aerospace Engineering graduate school. Orbit tools is a Java library which has functions that are useful in creating astrodynamic Java programs. It was used in a program Chris created while working at the Space Environment Center. These three applets based on these two classes are on this site the Julian Date Converter, Planetary Elements Applets and Direct Trajectory Calculator.
